Puttur: Cars collide head on – Eight passengers injured, three serious

Puttur, Jun 20: Eight people suffered injureies in a head-on collision between two cars at Kaikamba, Dharmastala–Subramanya state highway on Wednesday afternoon, June 19.

While one car was ferrying pilgrims to Subramanya temple, the other car was on the way to Dharmastala. Eight passengers sustained injuries. The condition of three people including a child among them is said to be critical.

All the eight injured were taken by 108 ambulances from Kadaba, Subramanya, Nelyadi and Shiradi to Puttur hospital.

Police from Subramanya and Kadaba visited the spot and conducted investigation.
