Congress dissolves Karnataka unit - Gundu Rao, Khandre spared

Bengaluru, Jun 19 (IANS): A day after the Congress suspended its MLA R. Roshan Baig, the party on Wednesday dissolved the Karnataka Congress Committee, sparing state unit chief Dilip Gundu Rao and Working President Easwar Khandre.

The Congress announced this in an official statement.

The move comes a day after the party suspended senior legislator from Bengaluru Roshan Baig for "anti-party activities".

The All India Congress Committee (AICC) approved Baig's suspension on the recommendation of the Karnataka unit following an investigation into his activities.

Baig has been in the news of late for wrong reasons, including his alleged involvement in a multi-crore Ponzi scheme operated by jewellery trader Mohammed Mansoor Khan who fled India on June 8.

    Finally "Congress mukth Bharath " is going to be a reality, very soon.
    Even 'Mughal dynasty' had an end, 'British Raj' also had an end in 1947. And now in 2019, it will be the inevitable end of

    This is a party with no President, No Core Working Committee, No members nothing.

    Who is dissolving, evolving, boiling and other LINGS ...Nobody knows....

    It is no more a peoples party. KPCC office bearers are devided in to so many factions. Workers dont know which factions to hang on i.e Sidhhu,Kharge..DKShee...on..and on.

    Need of the our is to dissolve Congress party at central level or merge it with any of the regional parties in state wise ....
    The party has no vision or leadership, senior leaders busy in pulling each others leg and grooming their own kids into politics .... Nobody want the party to flourish and not a single leader in the party who could match, Modi's caliber and charisma ....
