Mangaluru: DK Muslim Union extends support to proposed cow slaughter ban

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Jun 12: President of Dakshina Kannada Muslim Union, Ashraf, said that his organization will extend support if the state or central government passes cow slaughter ban law.

Addressing a press conference in the city on Tuesday, June 11, Ashraf stressed that consumption of beef is not a compulsory food item for Muslim. He also said that the Muslims are against illegal cattle transportation and sale of beef.

"We will request religious leaders to issue Fatwa banning illegal transportation of cattle in the interests of communal harmony. In the entire Dakshina Kannada district, officially recognized slaughterhouse operates only at Kudroli in the city. As such, it is possible for unauthorized cattle transportation to keep happening. For this purpose, authorized slaughterhouses should be allowed to function in every taluk. If this happens, in all likelihood, slaughter of animals will happen strictly as per law," he explained.

Mambers of the union, C M Mustafa, Muhamjmed Haneef, Sidduque Talpady, Abdul Jaleel, V HKarim, Ahmed Bava Baljal, and Mhammed Ashraf Badriya were present.

I urge Honorable Chief Minister Kumaraswamy and like minded MLA’s & M.P’s to help open cattle slaughter houses in each and every taluks as the meat prices are sky rocketing day by day.

NOBODY HAS THE RIGHT TO DECIDE WHAT SHOULD BE IN MY PLATE
AND WE WANTED FREEDOM TO EAT WHAT WE WANTED (No freedom to eat humans meat) IN A DEMOCRATIC SECULAR SOCIETY???!!!

I kindly suggest and humbly request all these recently sprouted organisations to help open more cattle slaughter houses in every Taluks of the Twin Districts of S.K. and Udupi Districts.. Presently we have only one cow slaughter house in Mangalore for the whole of South Kanara District.

    1) BELTHANGADY - NO COW SLAUGHTER HOUSE.
    2) SULLIA - NO COW SLAUGHTER HOUSE.
    3) BANTWAL - NO COW SLAUGHTER HOUSE.
    4) PUTTUR - NO COW SLAUGHTER HOUSE.
    5) KADABA - NO COW SLAUGHTER HOUSE

I AM NOT SURE CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE IS EXISTING IN UDUPI DISTRICT
    1) KARKALA – IF NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE SHOULD OPEN.
    2) KUNDAPUR - IF NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE SHOULD OPEN.
    3) BYNDOOR – NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE (PROPOSED TALUK)
    4) BRAHMAVARA – NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE (PROPOSED TALUK)
    5) MOODABIDRE – NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE SHOULD OPEN

Due to one cattle Slaughter House in Mangalore heavy to heavy burden on one, transportation of beef to-and-fro to all these Taluks increases cost of meat. Therefore, all meat consumers should have a meet to increase meat in the market, allowing one each slaughter houses in each every Taluks of the TWIN DISTRICTS. THEN YOU WILL FIND MEAT PRICES WILL FALL DOWN IMMEDIATELY / INSTANTLY. FOR ALL THOSE CUT AND EAT MEAT IS NOT A SIN AND NOT A CRIME.WE DON’T OBJECT THE RSS, VHP AND BD FOR EATING BEEF OR FOR NOT EATING CATTLE MEAT.

My kind request to hindus if you are offended & your religion doesn’t permit you to eat meat abstain from it..
NO COMPULSIONS FROM US THE MEAT EATERS.

I URGE HUMBLY TO C.M. KARNATAKA TO INCREASE CATTLE POPULATION FOR THE MEAT EATERS.
MAY GOD BLESS INDIA AND THE WHOLE WORLD.

    Dear Dhiraj,
Whoever is ruling party in the state or in the Central I am requesting to all to carry out slaughter houses in each and every Taluks of the district in the state.

The state Government should make all illegal slaughters to legal such as akram land making as sakrama.

Also requesting the state and central governments to increase cattle population for the sake of meat eaters.

If Indian cows are holy and not meant for slaughter then it's ok. But then the government should make alternative arrangements and import Beef from other countries.

One community must not change its food habits to appease another community. We are all equal and everyone's food habits must be respected. Sanghies should stop shoving their majoritarianism on others.

To begin with, let the government permit 4 to 5 slaughterhouses which operate as per government guidelines. Let hygiene and legality be the priorities. No cows should be slaughtered. Other bovines should be examined by an in-house veterinarian and certify that animal could be slaughtered for edible meat.
When there are more slaughterhouses, the intensity of the demand reduces, leaving no profits for cow thieves. This could in due course of time contribute to communal harmony in Karnataka.

From where these licensed slaughterhouses will source cows? Who will transport the cows to licensed slaughter house? There were instances of trashing the people even after having the proper permit to transport the cows!
It's better to have blanket ban on cow slaughter throughout India, including Goa and North East states.
The question is sentiments of Hindus! Even licensed slaughterhouse will also hurt the sentiments of Hindus, hence NO TO COW SLAUGHTER !

Completely agree with you Samad bhai,

" No one can stop us from eating beef..... yes, for sure we dont encourage illegal transportation of cow "

However, Beef BAN is only a political agenda.

    1) Since 1947 till date BJP govt made highest record of beef export. If cow is a religious and holy animal then BJP could have easily stopped the complete export.

    2) Earlier Maharashtra & Goa both had BJP government & Maharashtra banned beef whereas GOA allowed beef ... how its practical?

    3) Moreover, Vedas/Geeta states a brahmin or any hindu cannot be a good hindu unless he eat cow meat .further it states, any guests visit your home, serve them high quality cow meat..... so ultimately its purely a political agenda.

Kindly request to verify before responding to above.... just for the sake of response do not do so.
