Bengaluru: 'We will resign en masse, not individually' - Ramesh Jarkiholi

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, May 27: Congress rebel legislator, Ramesh Jarkiholi, asserted that there is no question of him tendering resignation alone. He clarified that he has a team of followers and that all the members would leave en masse. However, he refused to say when this will happen. He said that this process might even happen after a year.

Jarkiholi was speaking to media persons after meeting former Karnataka chief minister, S M Krishna, at the latter's residence along with Chikkaballapur MLA, Dr Sudhakar, on Sunday May 26. 'I am not indulging in Operation Lotus as claimed by some people. S M Krishna was instrumental in making me a legislator for the first time in the year 1999. I met him to enquire him about his current state of health. I did not discuss any politics with him," he claimed.

Ramesh Jarkiholi also said he had never discussed politics with BJP leader, B S Yeddyurappa, so far. He said that his group will discuss and take a collective decision about their political future. "There is no compulsion on us to reveal the number of people in this group. I am a Congress MLA currently. I have no information about BJP's plans to form alternative government," he added.

    Some facts:
    1. This person keep telling about resignation but never resigns. Looks like he has no guts. But Congress and JDS are damn scared to his statements and entire government trembles.
    2. Looks this person is an agent to many MLAs as there are chances that every MLA can become Minister because of this persons blackmailing.
    3. Even though we feel this guy is not so strong, that may not be the fact. Because he ensured Mr. Jolle's victory over Ukkeri. Also Mr. Devendrappa's over Ukrappa.

Selfish people like Ramesh have destroyed this Grand old party. All selfish individuals, wanting to hold on to their seats so that they keep making money perhaps. They have forgotten the sacrifices in this party had made for Independence and post independence; no other party has done this. The selfish people want to finish this party as can be seen from the Results of the just concluded General Election. Conscience has gone silent, their hearts have burbs, their brain is sluggish and they have no foresight about the future of this country. That is why they sit on the fence and threaten the party leadership. Quite sad Ramesh Jarkholi. You should be taking a long vacation in the south pole.

Honest advise to Congress and JDS MLAs who decided to resign or those who are with BJP contact or the MLAs who are treated with suspicion, better to resign immediately. Later when the mid term election will be declared, all these MLAs will neither get Congress ticket nor BJP ticket.

Better to resign now and plan their future.

This Jarkiholi drama is going on for a long time and people are fed up of this.

If you want to resign and go, please do. Do not do drama on a daily basis.

Congress has terribly failed to maintain its folks together and has damaged the functioning of coalition Govt. It is better they resign and put Governor's rule. Let there be a holiday for elected representatives.

Its high time for congress to kick out all such guys from party, instead of facing shame and embaressment daily . No matter even if they loose the state atleast the party can save its respect... Congress is filled with such guys who want to be chief ministers, all of em. I dont know why R.G is still tolerating these fellows.

After BJP's massive victory in just concluded lok sabha elections, turn coats are waiting to cross the borders just like people trying to enter developed countries.
BJP may be welcoming new voters but may be trying to control massive influx of other party leaders which reduces the scope of their own leaders.

Not people of India, it's the machines of India!
Why BJP alone is objecting for 100% verification of VVPAT slips, what they want to hide?
Days before results for the fiercely fought Lok Sabha elections are declared, several videos of EVMs being stored and moved from one unauthorised storage house to another surfaced on Twitter. While some machines are seen stored at local shops, others are seen stacked in the boot of private vehicles.
