Mangaluru: Srinivas Hospital to host womens’ health campaign from May 22 to Jun 21

Mangaluru, May 22: In order to enable women patients to avail comprehensive health advice, Srinivas Hospital will observe womens’ health campaign at its campus at Mukka for one month from May 22 to June 21.

The programme will commemorate International Women’s Day which is observed globally on the second Sunday of May (May 12).

During this period, the hospital will provide free general health screening for women and free outpatient consultation in gynecology and obstetrics. Diagnostic procedures, if required, will be performed on discount rates strictly on cost basis. Also, medication if required, will be made available at the in-house pharmacy at discount tariff. Women may avail sonomammography for breast cancer screening and pap smear test for cervical cancer screening. Both tests will be done at highly subsidized tariffs along with free expert consultation by specialists in gynecology and obstetrics.



Women’s health campaign will address common health concerns specific to women like menstrual disorders, risk of breast cancer and cervical cancer etc. The objective of the programme is to promote health awareness among the women population as envisioned in the ideals of International Women’s Day. This will be a great opportunity for women belonging to the underprivileged sections of society to avail quality healthcare, clarify their doubts regarding health issues and address healthcare needs.

Those interested may avail the facility by visiting the outpatient department of the hospital between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm on all weekdays (except Sunday) during the campaign period.

Women’s health check up package

During this period, the hospital’s popular Women’s Health Check Up package will be offered at a discount tariff of Rs 4000 (as against the normal tariff of Rs 5,500). Through this package one can get complete health status update with comprehensive Blood Test, Blood Sugar, Kidney Profile, Lipid Profile, Urine Examination, TSH, Calcium, Phosphorus, ECG, ECHO and Colour Doppler, TMT, Chest X-ray, Ultrasound – Abdomen / Pelvis, Pap Smear, Mammogram, Gynaecologist Evaluation with reports.

Tie up with Surgiri Mahila Mandali

In line with its increased focus on women’s health, Srinivas Hospital has entered into an agreement with Surgiri Mahila Mandali, a rural womens’ association improving women’s health.
