Mangaluru: Cine actor Radhika Kumaraswamy bereaved – father Devaraj, passes away

Mangaluru, May 20: Devaraj (58), father of Kannada cine actor, Radhika Kumaraswamy, breathed his last at a hospital at Bengaluru on Sunday May 19.

Devaraj was suffering from fever and kidney-related complications. He was being treated at a hospital at Mangaluru. For advanced medical care, he was shifted to a hospital at Bengaluru on Saturday.

Family sources said that the mortal remains would be brought to the city for conducting the funeral.

Elaborate preparations had been made to hold Bhoota Kola at Radhika's residence at Salethur. With the demise of Devaraj during this period, the programme has been put off. The family is shocked at the sudden turn of events.

Devaraj is survived by wife, daughter, Radhika, and son, Raviraj.
