Four arrested, three girls rescued by Crime Branch

Dona Paula,May 11: Crime Branch rescued three girls and arrested four accused after busting prostitution racket at Dona Paula, during wee hours of Saturday.

A senior police officer said that four accused were caught red-handed while they had arrived to deliver the girls to the customers at Dona Paula area, near Panaji at 1.30 a.m. on Saturday (today).

Dipendra Singh, Sarfaraj Khan, Ismael Hnaberkabaddi and Sajid Sheikh were arrested by police and booked under Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.

“Four girls were rescued, who are now sent to State-run Protection Home at Merces, near Panaji,” he said.
