Mangaluru, May 2: PACE-Nain Ideation-2019 workshop on ‘How to start a company from bench–side to bed-top’ was held at P A College of Engineering (PACE), April 29, in association with departmnet of IT and BT, government of Karnataka, K-tech innovation hub Bengaluru & PACE group.

The resource person Dr Melanie Rodrigues, COO, Spot Biosystem, USA, had outlined to solve, refine and nurture the ideas and advised students to transform innovative ideas into commercial product which inturn contribute to the society. She had also recalled the origin of industrial conglomerates TESLA and CISCO.

Dr Rameez M K, vice principal, PACE, delivered the presidential address. Dr Surfraz Hashim J, academic director, PAET, convinced the student community always to have positive mentality to become entrepreneur. Dr Sharmila Kumari, Dr Latha Krishnan, Dr Palakshappa and Prof Soofi were present during the programme.

Dr Krishnaprasad N, regional coordinator of PACE-NAIN incubation centre welcomed the gathering. Prof Fathimath Rehana of Electrical department compered the programme and Dr Ronald Valder from Biotechnology department rendered the vote of thanks.
