Bengaluru: Bike-borne woman attacked with sword on midst of road

Bengaluru, Apr 22: A CCTV by the side of the road has captured the act in which a gang attacked a bike-borne woman in the busy street of the city.

This incident has occurred in the autorickshaw stand of Chikkabidarakallu villave near Nelamangala on the outskirts of the city. Gangamma and Gaddappa who were going in a bike were mercilessly attacked by three people who came from behind and escaped from the spot.

Gangamma had murdered her husband and was in prison till recently. After she got released from the prison, she had called her brother-in-law Channappa and told him that she only had got her husband killed and also challenged Channappa as to what he can do to her. It is said that Channappa who got infuriated by the insult meted out to him by Gangamma attacked her and her accomplice through the members of his gang.

Police are investigating the accused Channappa. A case in this regard is registered in the Madanayakanahalli police station.
