Mumbai, Apr 20: Two men accused of allegedly assaulting and stalking a woman at Juhu beach on Thursday were arrested by Santacruz police. Amit Verma (27) and Rakesh Pal (28) tried photographing the woman on the sly.
"After a stroll on Juhu beach, the victim and her two sisters sat on a bench to snack when they noticed two men eyeing them. The men smoked and took selfies in an angle which captured the woman in the pictures," said a police officer.
"On objecting to this behaviour the woman was abused and assaulted. Onlookers contacted the police and a patrolling team reached the location of the incident to arrest the two accused," the officer added.
