Mangaluru: Bus driver casts vote despite being on duty, video goes viral

Mangaluru, Apr 19: A video is going viral on social media in which a bus driver has cast his vote midway through the journey.

Vijay Shetty, driver of bus that plies on Mangaluru-Shivamogga route, is the person who has cast his vote at Belvai village near Moodbidri, while on his way to Shivamogga.

Vijay was driving the bus from Mangaluru to Shivamogga on Thursday, April 18, the day of polling in Dakshina Kannada district. When the bus reached Belvai, his native village near Moodbidri, he ran towards the polling booth, cast his vote quickly and came back and resumed his work of driving the bus further to Shivamogga.

This duty-bound act of Vijay Shetty is lauded by one and all and the video of his act has gone viral on social media.
