Mangaluru: ‘Shakthi Can Create’ camp inaugurated at Shakthi Residential School

Mangaluru, Apr 12: “The camps held in school holidays for children help to identify their hidden talents and mould their personality. Immense talents and skills remain hidden in children. Activities such as these are necessary for their performance. Those help to develop the concentration of children,” said Besant women’s national education organisation secretary K Devananda Pai inaugurating ‘Shakthi Can Create’ summer camp at Shakthi Residential School on Thursday, April 11.

He congratulated Shakthi Education Trust for holding a complete camp that includes excellent activities. Janapada scholar Ramesh Kalmadi was the chief guest. “Teachers in schools and colleges should not give importance only to academics but to extracurricular activities too. They should develop among students time consciousness, functionality, obedience towards elders and teachers, Janapada dances and songs of the land. They should develop respect towards our arts and culture,” he said.



Gopalakrishna temple trustee K C Naik chaired the programme. School teacher Vidya Kamath G gave an introductory address and welcomed. School administrating official Bykady Janardhan Achar introduced the guests. Teacher Poornima gave details about the camp. Swathi B Nidpalli compered the programme. Priyanka Rai rendered the vote of thanks. Organization secretary Sanjith Naik, trustee Dr Muraleedhar Naik, Saguna C Naik, college lecturer Prabhaker G S, chief advisor Ramesh K and chief development officer Nasim Banu were present.
