Mandya: Stones pelted at Nikhil Kumaraswamy's supporter’s car

Mandya, Mar 23: Stones were hurled at a car when Nikhil Kumaraswamy was campaigning as coalition candidate from Mandya Lok Sabha constituency on Friday, March 22.

Miscreants threw stones on the car of K R Pete taluk panchayat vice president Janaki Ram. Glass on a side of the car is broken. The incident happened when Nikhil was going to Akkihebbalu after election campaign in Kattekyatanahalli.

Voters took Nikhil to task near Hulivana gram and did not allow him to speak. A few farmers interrupted Nagamandala MLA K Suresh Gowda, Vidhan Parishat member K T Srikantegowda and others and shouted slogans in favour of Sumalatha.
