Mangaluru: Human chain for voter’s awareness in participation of 40,000 people

Mangaluru, Mar 23: Efforts are on to involve 40,000 people in the human chain for voter’s awareness from Sasihitlu to Talapady proposed by district Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) unit on April 7 from 4 pm to 6 pm said Mangaluru taluk panchayat chief executive officer Raghu A E.

He was speaking in the preliminary meeting of different programmes of district SVEEP unit held in Jarandaya temple auditorium, here.

“It is planned to have one kilometer long chains involving one thousand people in each of them. Groups and associations should freely take part in the chain,” he said.
