Bengaluru: Suspense over – Deve Gowda to contest from Tumakuru

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (EP)

Bengaluru, Mar 23: The constituency from where former Prime Minister and JD(S) supremo Deve Gowda will contest elections has been finalized and official announcement is awaited.

As per official sources, Deve Gowda will contest from Tumakuru. He will submit nomination papers on Monday, March 25 as per muhurta.

It is said that the decision was taken after detailed discussions in the Padmanagar residence of Deve Gowda. Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy and all the Tumakuru JD(S) leaders met on Friday, March 22 and discussed for hours before taking the decision.

There were Bengaluru North and Tumakuru constituencies as choices for Deve Gowda. He did not know which one to chose. Congress wanted him to contest from Bengaluru. There were doubts also will he really contest as he had vacated his hometown Hassan for his grandson. JD(S) activists were also anxious.

Now the suspense is over as Deve Gowda has decided to contest from Tumakuru.

    Gowda family mix in politics:

Ajja matthu Mommakallu : Lokhasabhege (HDD, Prajwal and Nikhil)

Magandiru matthu soseyandiru: Vidhanasabhege ( HDK, Revanna, Anitha Kumaraswami and Bhavani Revanna)

Beegharu: Vidhanasabhege ( Father in law of HDD's youngest son Dr. H.D. Ramesh)

    This is what we know.

Actually DG should not have contested. Imagine poor old man, 88 years of age, contesting a grueling contest in this hot summer along with sons daughters, daughter-in-laws and grand sons....Lust for power and greed for money is his quest looks like. People should reject such family dynasts

Of the available options s , he had to go for least educated constituency among them.brcause parties like these rely heavily on Backward and Rural votes who don't think beyond Pressure Cooker and Gas Stove.

Poor Pammi, finally Siddharamiah managed to clip all his wings , no more his control on his home constituency.
