New Delhi: No matter who gets ticket, DK Congress leaders decide to fight unitedly

Daijiworld Media Network – New Delhi (MS)

New Delhi, Mar 22: BJP has already released the list of its candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. However, there is fierce competition for the Congress candidate for the Lok Sabha constituency of Dakshina Kannada. The district Congress leaders have met the high command in the city under the leadership of minister and district-in-charge, U T Khader and discussed the matter. During the discussion, state in-charge, K C Venugopal has requested the district Congress leaders to work in unity.

Speaking to the media, after the meeting with Venugopal, minister U T Khader said, “State in-charge, Venugopal has requested all the Congress leaders of the district that no matter who gets the Congress ticket for the Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha constituency, we all have to work in unity and make sure that the candidate wins. All the leaders have assured Venugopal of responding positively for his appeal,”

“We have displayed our unity in front of state Congress in-charge Venugopal during the discussion with regards to the Congress candidate for the Dakshina Kannada constituency. The leaders of the party had a meeting with the top brass of the party. We all will work unitedly. The Congress candidate of Dakshina Kannada district has to win. Due to the failure of the sitting MP of BJP, the development work has taken a backseat. The coalition government in the state has done many developments.” Khader added.

Giving his reaction, former minister Ramanath Rai said, “Mangaluru developed a great deal, when there were Congress MPs representing the constituency. During the period of BJP MPs, no development has taken place. All the works have come to a standstill. We will work unitedly regardless of who is given the ticket by the party high command. Our fight is to defeat BJP. There is a possibility that Congress will come back to power in the center.”

Former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake said, “We all are aspirants for the party ticket. Only when there is unity among us, change is possible. The Sangh Parivar also has called the sitting MP as not up to the mark. Vijaya Bank is merged with Baroda Bank. Mangaluru airport is handed over to private authority. We all will fight unitedly during the election. We are committed to the decision made by the high command. Congress is strong in Dakshina Kannada at present. Sitting MP of BJP Nalin Kumar Kateel has created an environment of unrest.”

Langoolji...come on dear.. We will vote but not for notes. We will vote for the development. Let's change our MP and see. No developments we noticed even if BJP is in centre. Looking at Shriman Modiji we voted here but developments are nil. Let's vote for the right candidate no matter whichever party he belongs to! Come to damarskatte you are welcome.

Amongst the above DK Congress team members, any body has a guts to revolt. I won't think so. So they have to unitedly fight. Age is not the criteria, it is the organisational skills, energetic character, all these quality counts a lot.

    Dear frnds
My one request to each one of you when you vote take a right decision never go as per caste or religion or a person of your choice see to it who can work as per law and who is very sincere to bring up good work and improve our constitution. Never keep enemies.. We all are human beings so if each one decides to bring peace in our country surely there won't be any disasters. We all humans are one family.

"We are all humans belong to one family" ..very beautifully you said. But tell me who thinks that way? We fight, argue, debate, degend the political leaders whom we like. After all, some of them will win and make their chair strong. Then they are for themselves and we are for ourselves remaining in enmity among neighbourhood/religion/caste/creed etc. Almost every politician is hungry for power, money and chair. I really hate politics

Even if a donkey contests on BJP ticket from the mangagala ooru, it will win. The athi buddivanthara jilles of mangagala ooru and udu pee have long back turned communal. voting is done on the basis of caste and not candidate.
for teh same reason, though mangalore has suffered greatly in the last five years, the blind bhakts will support and the punmpwell bridge will be over when nalin kumar completes his 60 years.

BJP is gone by the wind. People are fed up and frustrated in Modi's devide and rule between communities. All that one needs to be careful and keep a vigil on ballot boxes tampering when they are stored as the case in recently held and concluded 5 state elections. BJP can stoop to any level to kill "Democracy and Democratic Institutions" Chowkidaar is to protect Adani and Ambani's but not the Democractic Priniciples of this great nation. So be alert from these all BJP chowkidaars.
