Karkala police seize Rs 3 lac in cash carried without documents

Karkala, Mar 22: Police on Thursday, March 21 seized Rs 3 lac in Rs 2,000 and Rs 500 denomination notes from two persons.

There were 25 notes of Rs 2,000 denomination and 500 notes of Rs 500 denomination. The cash which was carried in a car without documents was seized near Sanoor check post.

Prasanna Karanth and Narayana Karanth from Shaktinagar were detained.



The seized cash was handed over to Karkala tahshildar.
