Bengaluru: Students post SSLC question paper on social media, create panic

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Mar 22: On the first day of SSLC examination itself, chaos was created as the students who had come out of the examination hall before the completion of stipulated time, shared the Kannada question paper on social media.

There is a rule which says till the completion of a specific time period, the students have to be inside the examination hall. However, some students of Lingasagur in Raichur district came out of the examination hall around 11.25 am itself, along with the Kannada question paper, and posted the question paper on social media. This created rumours that the question paper of Kannada subject was leaked.

The state high school examination board gave a clarification that the Kannada question paper was not leaked as alleged and some people might have done it deliberately. The board also said that a complaint regarding this incident is registered in Lingasagur of Raichur district, from where this incident was reported.

The invigilator of the examination hall should have collected the question paper back from the students leaving the hall before the stipulated time. However, the invigilator failed in his/her duties.

The high school examination board director Sumagala said that instructions are given to take suitable action in this case.

First, why students allow to take question paper after the exams, why students are allowed to go out before fixed time period is over, no one shud be allowed to go out of exams hall before given 2.30 hours.

The Invigilators are responsible if they fail to collect the question paper if students go out before the stipulated time of the exams. First suspended that particular Invigilators, so all others will get alert. Warning should be given to Principle/ Head Master also.
