Gadag: Mobile game obsessed PUC student writes only about PUBG in exam

Gadag, Mar 21: A first year PU student obsessed with ‘PUBG’ mobile game has written only about the game in the answer paper in the examination.

The student of commerce division in a private college here had opted for computer science, accountancy and economics and business studies subjects in PUC. He had written nothing other than ‘PUBG’ game in the economics examination held during last month. He had started the answer script by writing ‘PUBG’ and only explained the game in the script. The appraisers have brought it to the notice of college principal. But they informed the matter to the parents of the student only after the results were out. They have asked to prepare the student for the supplementary examination in June.

The teachers have come to know in the discussions with the parents that the student was always engrossed in ‘PUBG’ game at home. However the student had secured 73% marks in SSLC examination.

The student has said that he was angry and wrote about ‘PUBG’ in the answer paper. “My parents have snatched the mobile from me. But the pictures of the game are revolving in my head. I know now how dangerous is the game,” said the student in regret.
