Kundapur, Mar 19: In a shocking incident that occurred in Thailand, a man from Gopady, near Koteshwar here died due to cardiac arrest on March 18.
Rupert Kiran Baretto (35), son of retired teacher and resident of Gopady village, James Baretto, is the person who died suddenly. He was working as a tool design engineer in Thailand and was going to duty by car as usual when he suffered massive cardiac arrest.
Rupert had married recently. He had come to his native place in December 2018 to celebrate his birthday and was there for some time before returning to Thailand.
He is survived by his parents, wife and sister.
