Bantwal, Mar 19: Border Security Force (BSF) held a route march in coordination with Bantwal police in several places in the taluk as precautionary measures for Lok Sabha elections.

The march began from Vittal town and progressed via Kanyana, Karopadi and Salethur. It was followed by Farangipete route march. The march is being held to prevent unpleasant incidents before the elections and ensure maintenance of peace and order till the elections.



BSF commandant, Bantwal ASP Saidul Adavat, circle inspector Sharan Gowda, Bantwal SI, police staff of Bantwal circle, BSF staff and police vehicles took part in the march.
