Bengaluru, Mar 18: In an incident that occurred in the city, police themselves played the role of villain and arrested the husband of a couple who eloped and got married six months ago.

Shilpa and Venkatesh are the couple who are separated now due to the act of the police department. Both were having an affair for the past five years and eloped from their respective homes as parents of both were against their marriage. They married six months ago secretly and were leading a family life.

Parents of Shilpa had registered a missing person case in the V V Puram police station of the city. The police called the couple saying that they have to take their statement. However, when the couple arrived at the police station, they registered a case and arrested Venkatesh.

Parents of Shilpa use their connection and took back their daughter. Now, Venkatesh is longing for his separated wife. In addition, police are also threatening him to make him stay away from Shilpa. Venkatesh has accused the police of torturing him in the police station.
