Moodbidri, Mar 18: A man received threats to life over dispute of land in Kadandale here on Sunday, March 17.
Kadandale residents Sheena Safaliga and his wife Sumathi is the couple who reportedly threatened Vittal Putran. A dispute exists regarding ancestral land of Sheena Safaliga family. The members of the family had registered a case in the court and obtained stay order against Sheena Safaliga.
Sheena Safaliga and his wife who got anguished due to the stay order allegedly hurled expletives at Vittal Putran who had indulged in cultivation and threatened to kill him, stated Vittal Putran in his complaint.
Police obtained Muchalike document signed from the couple and warned them to follow court orders.
