Mangaluru: Valencia parish joins hand with Ramkrishna Mission’s Swacchata Abhiyan

Mangaluru, Mar 18: Ramakrishna Mission’s Swacchata Abhiyan phase-5 was flagged off at Valencia by St Vincent Ferrer Church parish priest Fr James D’Souza and vice president of parish council Anil Lobo.

Before the flag off ceremony Fr James D’Souza and Anil Lobo conveyed their message.On behalf of all present Swami Ekagamyanandaji of Ramkrishna Math welcomed the gathering.

The cleanliness drive started at 7.30 am and went on till 10.00 am from Valencia Circle till Gorigudda. Rain water drains and footpaths were cleaned. Sign boards cleaned and given new look. Door-to-door awareness was also done during the drive.



Swami Ekagamyanadaji, Dilraj Alva, Kudroli Ganesh of Ramakrishna Mission, Fr James D’Souza, Fr Joswin Dsouza, Fr Arun Lobo, Anil Lobo, members of Ramakrishna Mission and parishioners of Valencia were present for the cleanliness drive.

Around 100 volunteers participated in the drive and breakfast was served to all who participated in the drive.
