Bengaluru: Siddaramaiah retained Mysuru LS seat, gave up mine to JD (S) - DCM Parameshwar

Bengaluru, Mar 15: MLA S T Somashekhar has informed that deputy chief minister Dr G Parameshwar has expressed his unhappiness over giving Tumkur Lok Sabha constituency to JD (S).

“Dr Parameshwar spoke to me over the phone with regard to the offering of Tumkur Lok Sabha constituency to JD (S). He was in little distress. But the rule of alliance applies to all. So he has accepted the decision of the high command,” said S T Somashekhar.

According to sources in the Congress, Parameshwar has conveyed his dissatisfaction with his close-aides and said, “I do not know why only my constituency was targeted. But former CM Siddaramaiah retained his constituency of Mysuru. It is not right to have sacrificed my district.”

“There is no value to my words in the party. Why this much anger on me? The sitting MP of Tumkur Mudduhanumegowda had did a good job. But I do not know why injustice was meted out to him this time. The party should not have done this,” expressed his unhappiness Dr G Parameshwar according to party sources.
