Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (EP)

Bengaluru, Mar 14: “There is no confusion in sharing seats in Lok Sabha elections with JDS. The first list of Congress candidates will be released on March 16,” said KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao. Speaking to news reporters in KPCC office, he said that everything is smoothly discussed in screening committee meeting. “The central election committee meeting on March 16 will be presided over by AICC president Rahul Gandhi. The first list of candidates will be released in that meeting,” he said.

No support for Sumalatha

“As Mandya Lok Sabha constituency is vacated for JD(S), Congress cannot support Sumalatha. We respect Ambareesh and sympathy towards Sumalatha. But we are not able to stay by her side now. There are differences between local JD(S) and Congress activists in Mandya. Attempts will be made to set them right. As minister D K Shivakumar was Mandya in charge during last by elections, he has held discussions with Mandya district leaders. We will together solve the problem of Mandya,” he said.

Leaders of Belagavi leaders on Thursday

“As there is confusion about who should be the candidate among Belagavi district leaders, a meeting will be held in the leadership of Siddaramaiah. All will be asked in the meeting to unite and work,” he said.
