Mangaluru, Feb 18: St Francis Xavier’s Church Bejai, under the initiative of Divine Mercy ward, organised a prayer service on February 17 at War Memorial near Kadri police station at 6:30pm for the 40 Martyrs of Pulwama Terror Attack.
Fr Wilson V D’Souza, parish priest of St Francis Xavier’s Church conducted the prayer service.
As a mark of respect, floral tribute was offered and candles were lit by the gathering.
Ivan G D’Souza (Gurkar of D MWard), Wilson Lobo, Judy Moras, Thomas Dsouza, corporator Prakash K and Dinesh Bangera, and representatives from the parish organisations were present.
One minute silence was observed and concluded by the patriotic song Aye Mere Vatan Ke Logon by the all present.
