Bantwal, Feb 17: A truck got stuck under an iron bar fixed under the railway bridge at B C Road Kaikamba on Saturday February 16. This incident gave rise of traffic snarls for long.

The truck in question was carrying a load of sheep manure to Mallur near Gurpur from Ballari. After the roof of the truck hit the protective bar, the bar along with the poles on both sides to which it was fixed, got uprooted. As the truck remained stationary at the spot and was unable to move, traffic block occurred.

Similar incidentshad happened at this particular spot even in the past. The traffic police who came on the scene a little later had a hard time streamlining the traffic.
