Mangaluru: Rosary Kindergarten holds annual day

Mangaluru, Feb 16: The annual day programme of the Rosary Kindergarten commenced at 10.00 am at the Rosario Cultural Hall with the Prayer Dance by the Senior KG children, the theme being “I Thank You Lord” showing their reverence, gratitude to the Almighty and by invoking His Blessings.

The Welcome Dance by the Junior KG children was truly a warm welcome to the gathering present. The Headmistress Jeanette Fernandes welcomed the gathering, the mesmerizing cultural programme continued with Dance showcasing the importance of Environment, Patriotic Dance, Hindi Song potraying the Beauty of Nature. The icing on the Cake was the Action Song, where all the children in unison sang the song “It is a Small World, full of Laughter and Hope”



This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony. The toppers in Academics and winners in various competitions were awarded prizes by the Chief Guest Sr Doreen D’souza, Former Superior General, Ursuline Franciscan Society.

In her message the chief guest appreciated the Brilliant performance of the children and admired the staff for their pain taking efforts in putting up such a great event. She appealed to the parents to balance between discipline and love. She emphasized the 5G ‘s to be instilled in the children viz Goodness, Gracefulness, Generosity to be Goal Oriented and God centered.

The President of the programme Fr J B Crasta, Correspondent, Rosario Educational Institutions & Director, Rosary Kindergarten, lauded the children for their beautiful performance and the teachers for training the children for today’s event. He highlighted that every effort was made to give a wholesome education to the children providing learning experience and also promoting their alround developmen

Sujatha D’Souza, KG in-charge, read the Annual Report, Felcine Rego, teacher, Upper KG read the list of prize winners, Savitha Shetty compered the programme and proposed the Vote of Thanks.

In all the Annual Day was very colourful and entertaining.
