Mangaluru: St Ann’s College of Education here conducts awareness rally on right of voting

Mangaluru, Feb 16: St Ann’s College of Education conducted a rally to create awareness on duty and right of voting.

The objective of this rally was to create a platform to engage student-teachers in spreading awareness regarding responsibility of common people to exercise their
right of voting. It was done through interesting activities and hands-on experience to sensitize the voters on their electoral rights and familiarize them with the
electoral process of registration and voting.

The awareness rally aimed at strengthening the culture of electoral participation among young and future voters.



Various activities and games were planned and conducted to stimulate, motivate and provoke them regarding enrolling their names in the electoral list and to cast their valuable vote on election day. Quiz, essay writing competitions were held in the college. The faculty, BEd and MEd students held a rally from the college premises through head post office, Forum Mall, A B Shetty circle and Hamilton circle. They marched with placards sensitizing the masses.

Principal Dr Sr Clare AC and all the staff participated in the rally. Physical director Suresh Kumar T co-ordinated the awareness rally.
