Bengaluru: Attur Basilica committee visits CM and invites him for annual feast

Bengaluru, Jan 24: The committee lead by Santhosh D’Silva along with Gopal Bhandary, former MP, Karkala, G A Bava, secretarty KPCC, met Chief Minister H D Kumaraswami on Wednesday, January 23 to invite him for the annual feast of St Lawrence Minor Basilica which will be held from January 27 to 31.

The committee has already met Dr Jayamala, minister for Women and Child Development and Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizen, who will be visiting the Basilica on January 27.



Zameer Ahmed Khan, minister of Minorities Welfare, Haj and Wakf department will visit the Basilica on January 29. The committee also met K J George, minister of Large and Medium size Industry, Sa Ra Mahesh, minister for Tourism, U T Khader, minister for Urban Development and Housing, D Vedavyas Kamath, MLA, Mangaluru south, K Ragupathi Bhat, MLA Udupi, Krishna J Palemar and invited them to visit the Basilica during the annual feast.
