Bengaluru: Kampli MLA Ganesh, facing murder attempt charge, goes missing

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Jan 22: Kampli MLA, J N Ganesh, who is facing the charge of attacking Vijayanagar MLA, Anand Singh, and attempting to murder him, is facing the prospects of getting arrested. Ganesh reportedly has not been available for contract now.

A first information report stands registered against Ganesh by Anand Singh, in which he has been accused of assaulting Anand Singh at Eagleton Resort, Bidadi.

Ganesh has been booked for offences under section 323 (assault), 324 (hitting with rod), 307 (murder attempt), 504 (posing threat to life) and 504 (purposeful disturbance of peace). Anand Singh has claimed that Ganesh had sought a pistol from others during the said attack, duly announcing his intention to eliminate Anand.

Ganesh has gone missing since the moment a case was registered against him. Bidadi police are on the lookout for him. Three teams, two among which are headed by Ramanagara deputy superintendent of police, Purushotham, and Bidadi police inspector, Harish, have been formed to find out the whereabouts of Ganesh.

Ganesh, who has been suspended from the Congress, has been trying to secure anticipatory bail from the court. At the same time, it is said that Anand Singh is contemplating to continue to stay put in the hospital till Ganesh is arrested, because of death threat posed to him.

A meeting of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee held on Monday had decided to suspend Ganesh from the party. The party has constituted a special inquiry committee comprising deputy chief minister, Dr G Parameshwara, K J George, and Krishna Byre Gowda. The committee has been asked to complete its investigation and file report at the earliest.

The current PM of Pakistan had dug a grave for himself for all the well meaning future plans of himself viz., having electables onto his fold. What that brought to the common man was, change at the top and all those below were very much the same dispensation that were at the helm before under various regime.

These lucky five including the wounded soldier in Anand Singh can at best be called "electables". They can belong to any party, but it is a class of politicians that are emerging who purely with their money power continue to be in power or are elected from their respective constituency irrespective of which party comes to power. This trend has become prevalent as one has to show his spending power for canvassing before he has a realistic chance of getting ticket from any party. It has both pros and cons. While it is correct to vote for a party irrespective of the candidate, but if same candidate emerges to lead the constituency regardless of the party, it is the best way to compromise the democratic element that election represents.

Consequently, it would make the job for a political party a bit difficult whilst being sensitive about candidate selection if electables are consistently voted out. In DK, this happened with JP as well as Danajay Kumar. Probably it is time we have a deeper look at the Kateels and other electables in DK.

The Kannadigas deserve it for voting this bunch of jokers. Are these leaders really public servants? They are regularly on tour from one resort to another. At times I think that it was good Chanakya neeti by the BJP strategists and its exactly working fine for them. The Cong-JDS combo are on their toes, fighting for survival, having sleep less nights , resulting in infights , abuses, assault, police case, abscondings etc giving a live trailer on how the Mahaghatbandhan for Lok Sabha polls would work. Will any one vote for a 'combo of losers' in future.

When I see present day politics i. e. Fight between the parties, fights within the party, assaults, resort politics, jumping from one party to another etc. Why can't we, our daiji commentators form a government this time ? We have all the parties among us. But with fantastic ideas, views. 😂

They are goons, not bothered about anything or anyone, except their family welfare.
People elected them to enjoy in Resorts.
In this country only goons are elected because most of the voters doesn't have brains & don't understand anything except eating & drinking.

Actually number has hit 7 now. 2 Independent MLAs withdrew support, 4 did not attend Congress Legislative Meeting & did not move to Resort, now Ganresh suspended.
We all know which way will Anand Singh go next, so then 8, so then factually 112

Who is behind these acts. One party and one person is trying his maximum level best from last 8 months without sleeping. Stop this kind of politics, once one person got a ticket from one party he can't change that party for full tenure. Why we want politicians? All chors from the top to the bottom.
