Udupi, Jan 20: In an incident that occurred at 4.30 pm on Friday, January 18, Satish Prabhu (45), a resident of Mel Belanjale of Shirva near here, attacked an elderly person, who livers in his neighbourhood with Kadsale of his Mane Daiva.
The accused Satish was roaming with the Kadsale and attacked the neighbouring shop owner Devanna Nayak. In addition, he also smashed the window panes of another house in the vicinity. Injured Devanna Nayak is admitted to the Manipal hospital.
Shirva police are conducting the investigation.
