Mangaluru, Jan 18: City police arrested a man for sending insulting comments against Malabar Gold & Diamonds in WhatsApp.

The arrested has been identified as Bhujesh (37), a resident of Mangalpady, Kasargod. The arrest was made on the basis of complaint at Mangaluru south police station by the marketing manager of Malabar Gold & Diamonds that some people were sending false and insulting comments about the company in WhatsApp and creating fear among ist employees and customers.

Police from Mangaluru south police station who took up investigations have arrested Bhujesh at Kuntagaladka, Manjeshwar on January 17 and confiscated the mobile hand set used by him to send the messages. Investigation regarding those who forwarded messages to him are in progress.

The arrest was made by Mangaluru south police inspector in charge Mohammed Sharif under guidance from Mangaluru central sub division assistant police commissioner Bhasker Okkaliga. PSI Rajendra B, Manjula L and staff coordinated in the arrest.

    Without prejudice.., & with no intention to pre-empt the investigation/judicial process., the arrested guy may be just a puppet.., his sim card would have been used by a team of masters & mentors engaged in such things for better known reasons to themselves...,

    Lord BRAHMA knows very well who are those people...,
