Mangaluru: Angling workshop to be held on Jan 19, 20

Mangaluru, Jan 18: The hobby of catching fish by using a rod and line, popularly know as 'Anglinig' is becoming a sport in these days.

In order to attract the youth of Karnataka towards this healthy hobby and also to give them expert training, thereby encourgaing them to take part in international level angling competition, a training workshop will take place on January 19 and 20 in the city.

This two-day training workshop is being organized under the joint auspices of Gifted India company, College of Fisheries Management and Decathlon.

On January 19, the training will take place at Decathlon showroom in the city from 4 pm to 6 pm and on January 20, further training will be given at Panambur beach from 8 am to 10 am.

In the workshop information will be given on the history of the sport Angling, implementation, venue, sportsman spirit and breeds of fish.
