BJP fully committed to fulfilling youngsters’ aspirations: PM Modi

New Delhi, Jan 17 (PTI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi Thursday said the BJP is fully committed to
fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of the country’s talented youngsters, as the party’s youth wing launched its campaign for his return to power in the Lok Sabha polls.

“I commend the energetic BJYM team for their #VijayLaksh2019 movement that will mobilise Yuva Shakti from all over India on a large scale for a strong mandate for the BJP. Our Party is fully committed to fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of our talented youngsters. #NaMoYuva,” Modi tweeted.

The prime minister’s tweet came after Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) chief Poonam Mahajan launched a campaign of 17 different programmes aimed at connecting with young voters with the slogan ‘Laksh hamara, Modi dobara” (Our aim, Modi again).

The BJYM has named the exercise “Vijay Laksh 2019”.

PM Modi promised 20 million jobs a year, but instead more than 7.2 million jobs meant for the 15-24 age group were lost over the last four years. Job creation in India is at an eight-year low.
The previous government of Dr Manmohan Singh lifted close to 140 million people above the poverty line between 2004 and 2014. However, no one has any clue as to whether the present government is doing anything substantive to uplift the poor.
Every year 12 million young people enter the Indian workforce, and providing them all with jobs would necessitate economic expansion of at least 10% per annum, according to Raghuram Rajan, former governor of India’s central bank.
Many in India feel that the country lost another four years with Modi as prime minister. Unfortunately, Modi has tried to prove himself more as a successful speaker than trying to be an agent of change.

Narendra Modi had promised 1 crore jobs every year during elections.
Only 2.31 lakh jobs were created during April-December 2016.
About 63 per cent people said no change in unemployment reduction.

On the campaign trail in 2013, Narendra Modi told Indians that his party would create 10 million jobs if it came to power. Amidst rising unemployment, PM Narendra Modi gives India ‘pakoda’ for thought. His minister cabinet minister Piyush Goyal thinks 'losing your job' that's a 'Very Good Sign'.

Much to the relief of the ruling party, a fresh wave of optimism is sweeping the country as the national economic discourse has finally matured from just “Chai pe Charcha” to “Chai-Pakode pe Charcha”. The latest flagship scheme in the economic reforms bouquet is 'Pakode Banao, Desh Bachao'.
"But I want to ask the Prime Minister that when a pakora seller, by going beyond his means and skipping meals, somehow gets his son educated... does he expect his son to sell pakoras along with him? But the Prime Minister is suggesting that a pakora seller's son should become a pakora seller only,".

Committed to fulfill aspirations of youth?
Must be referring to the children of Ambanis/Adanis etc
For, the promised 2 crores jobs a year still remain in the Usual Pipeline. And as per CMIE (Center for Monitoring Indian Economy) 11 million jobs are lost in 2018 alone.

Very nice speech by our great leader. His guidance to non employed and uneducated youngsters is leading their life to ruin. Many of them are on the road of terrorism. Many have adopted their life to steal cows and sell to beef exporters in Gujrat. Goondaism is on highest level in UP. Well job ibeing done by another hero Jogi.
