Mumbai: Alden Nishith Noronha shines in athletics

Mumbai, Jan 17: Alden Nishith Noronha has won the first place in 110 meters hurdles for boys under-21 age group at Khelo India Youth Games 2019 held at Pune Balewadi and also at 110 meters hurdles at All India Junior National Athletics Championships held at Ranchi Jharkhand with a timing of 13.96sec.

The 19-year-old did his studies at St Dominic Savio High school, Andheri and Science (Electronics), Sathaye College Junior College, Vile-Parle. He is currently pursuing his Electronics engineering at Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering, Bandra.



He is training under his coach Dayanand Shetty. He is presently staying at Andheri, Mumbai. He is the son of Anil Noronha of Mangaluru and Helen Pereira of Moodbidri.
