Mangalore, Jan 2: Silver bells rang gladly at St Vincent Convent located at Fr Muller quarters, Kankanady here on Friday January 2. Four religious sisters Sr Aileen Mathias, Sr Denny D Souza, Sr Jacintha D Souza and Sr Janet D Souza celebrated and thanked God for the fruitful 25 years of their consecrated life as sisters of Charity of St Bartholomew Capitanio and V Gerosa.
Sr Aileen Mathias is presently working as the nursing superintendent, Sr Janet as an assistant nursing superintendent and Sr Denny as the ward in-charge. Sr Jacintha is working as the principal of Fr Muller College of Nursing.
Fr Muller Charitable Institutions director Fr Patrick Rodrigues offered Eucharistic Mass along with other 30 priests on the occasion, followed by a short felicitation programme.
Hearty Congratulations dear Sr.Janet, Sr.Aileen, Sr.Jacintha & Sr.Denny on your Silver Jubilee of your Religious life. May the Almighty God bless and protect u in your mission and may u have many more fruitful years. Wishing u a wonderful New Year 2009.

“MY LIFE IS YOURS AND FOR YOUR PEOPLE O LORD." Were the wordings of the invitation given to attend this function. It was a very special function, not just because it was a silver jubilee celebration of 4 nuns who happened to work in Fr Mullers hospital, but it was also a thanks giving opportunity for the many who have received new lease of life, because of the efforts from these 4 nuns. They are not exaggerations but facts. As was mentioned in one of the talks, One doctor had given just 10 days of life for a girl who had developed worms due to infection in the ear. This girl was brought to Fr Mullers hospital as a last resort and these nuns due to their effort saved this girls life. This is just one of the many cases, where lives which were taken for granted to be lost have been saved. All these miraculous works though have gone unnoticed in the eyes of the general public, yet they are the real examples of understanding what the real christian faith means. Taking care of those of who have lost all hope. Personnly being one of those lucky receipients of getting a second lease of life, I take this opportunity to thank them on their joyous day and wish them well in the future.

A great banquet given to our Sister's at the table of Our Lord.Our Nun's along with our fellow priest are carrying out a tremendous dedication in the service our Lord, just like Christ said that I have come into this world to serve and not be be Served, so is the same with our priest and Nun's. We should always stand united as one family and help the Church.
On viewing the photographs by Daiji world, we must congratulate Daiji in keeping us catholic's around the world, of current s taking place in India. The four Nun's dressed in Saree and the SILVER garland's is a dressing on the cake they cut as part of their Jubilee celebrations in service of the Church, may the Good Lord always be with them in prayer and Spirit. Dear Mr. Stanley Bantwal, The name of Fr. Mullers as well as the name of Sisters of Charity makes me very sentimental. It brings back lot of precious memories. Our daily bread of survival came from the simple earnings of our father who worked at Fr. Mullers for nearly 50 years. Our support of prayers during our school days came from the St.Vincent Convent of Fr. Mullers where our Sister Joan stayed for several years and did her B.A., B.T thru the Convent's blessings. When our mother had a major heart surgery almost 60 years ago under the good hands of late Dr. Lorsab we requested the nuns next door to pray for our mother's safe recovery and the nun's prayers were heard and our mother lived for nearly 40 more years thereafter. We always remember of roots, and we always remain grateful for those that have helped us to grow and prosper.
