Mangaluru: Faculty workshop on Bibliometrics and Science mapping organised at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Jan 3: The IQAC of St Agnes College (autonomous), here organized a workshop on Bibliometrics and Science mapping to conduct Literature Review for the faculty of BCom, BBA, BCA, BA and the PG departments on January 2.

The resource person was Dr Amitabh Anand, assistant professor, SKEMA, France.

He explained the working of SCOPUS database and how to extract metadata from it. Through suitable examples he illustrated the applications of VOSViewer a free software that would easily help with literature review of seminal text and emerging trends in the field of interest.



Dr Ita D’Souza, IQAC convenor welcomed and introduced the speaker, Marina Pinto, IQAC secretary proposed the vote of thanks and Dr Hithakshi compered the programme.
