Mangaluru Dec 19: BJP staged protest at DC office in Mangaluru on Wednesday, December 19, against Congress for misleading people and imposing false allegations over BJP on Rafale deal.

Addressing the protestors, BJP leader Yogish Bhat said," Congress has been misguiding and misleading the people of the country purely on the basis of inaccurate, illogical and baseless allegations. Four petitions were filed before the Supreme Court last week. Three issues of decision making, price and offset partners were particularly raised in these petitions. On 14th December, the Supreme Court of India gave its decision on theses petitions and found that the overall process in the Rafale agreement is transparent and as per the rules. The court also gave a message with this decision that the matters related to national security should not be bought to the court just on the basis of unfounded doubts and misleading news items.”

He also said," The court head set aside all these petitions and clearly stated that there is no scope or any solid basis to doubt this agreement. On the basis of facts, the court also found that the air force of the country needs such aircrafts and set standards and procedures were followed in completing this purchase process, for the need of the security of the country.”

District BJP general secretary Ravi Shankar Mijar said," In 2001 the subject of buying some fighter planes was brought in to the notice of then Congress led UPA government. They kept this matter hanging during their term. When the BJP led NDA government was formed in the centre under the leadership of Modi, this matter was moved in to a positive direction, and the process was transparent. It is unfortunate that the Congress party had kept dilly dallying this important need of the armed forces of the country and today is the misleading people on the basis of inaccurate facts.”

He further said, “Congress has been using this issue only for the sake of their narrow political benefits and also maligning the image of our country at International level.”

It's truly amazing that BJPEEE's can bring on so many to protest with less than a hour notice! These
unemployed youth walk the walk run for miles and scream on top of their lungs - all for little change
    and free meal!
Dear BJPEEE please find jobs for these youngsters - You have the central govt. under FEKU - get him
to create the jobs HE PROMISED!
Hold his feet to the fire - You're barking at the wrong party - Feku has money and power - he will
    deliver!!!!!!?????
Street protests are entertaining but don't create jobs!!!!!!!!!!

This is not a protest, it is a farce. I have great respect for Mr. Yogesh Bhat but he should refrain from taking part in such buffoonery as everyone knows pretty well that the contract was awarded to Anil Ambani to extricate him from the bad times he has fallen into. It is very clear even to the naked eye that Modi wanted to favour his Gujju Bhai who had extended all help in order that be becomes the PM. I don't think the Ambanis had favoured Modi out of any love for him but clever businessmen as they are, they had invested in this man and naturally, they are asking for their pound of flesh now. There is no way Modi can refuse them and naturally, he is dancing to their tunes. What other explanation is there that a company which was formed just 12 days before this order was placed is given precedence over the state run Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. that has been in existence for about 70 years. If Modi was really interested in the welfare of the country, he should have backed HAL and not Ambani. I remember when Jio was launched, Modi acted as though he was their marketing manager when his real job was to protect the interest of the government run BSNL. It is deceitful for anyone to take the salary from the government but favour the private firms belonging to his friends.

The CAG is a caged parrot, The CBI Director has been sacked in a midnight coup. No JPC Probe. The people of India will not rest until the truth is revealed. If the BJP has nothing to hide then why is is not agreeing to a JPC Probe. Obviously there is Gutala in the Rafale Scam and the BJP is trying their best to protect the PM and Ambani as the truth will be bitter for the BJP.
