Mangaluru: Medical student from city commits suicide

Mangaluru, Dec 19: A student of a medical college at Kankanady in the city ended his life on the evening of Tuesday, December 18.

The ill-fated student has been identified as Amrit (20) from Mysuru. He was a fifth semester student of MBBS degree course. He hanged himself from the ceiling fan inside the hostel room when there was no one around, the police stated.

Reportedly the student was going through tension. A case has been registered in Pandeshwar police station about this suicide.
