Mangaluru: Vivek Sequeira and team clicked 1.2 lac photos at Isha Ambani's wedding

Mangaluru, Dec 18: The wedding of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's daughter Isha Ambani with Anand Piramal by now is history. The who's who of the whole universe attended the spectacle.

Even Mangalureans had a share in the great gala event of the century as the photography of the whole event was done by Vivek Sequeira and his team. The team clicked an astonishing 1.2 lac photographs during the 15 day-long mega event that started on December 1 and ended on December 15.

Giving a glimpse of the inside story, Vivek Sequeira said, "This is a dream come true for me as this is by far the biggest marriage celebration that I have covered and will ever cover in my life."

The contract was kept a secret till the last moment and Vivek was not aware that he has bagged the huge responsibility of covering the wedding of Isha Ambani with Anand Piramal when someone from the event organizer's side approached him.

Vivek says, "I was approached in the month of June 2018 and told to keep my calendar blocked from December 1 to 15. I was also asked to send some clips of my work. But I was not told whose wedding it was even after it was confirmed to me that I have to cover the event."

Vivek was made to agree to maintain the secrecy of the event by signing documents against divulging any part of the event to public, including his pay packet.

In addition to Vivek, 17 people of his team worked in tandem. The photographs clicked during the event took a mammoth space of 30 TB on the hard disk.
