Mangaluru: St Aloysius College Quiz association conducts educative ‘Al-Connaissance 2K18’

Mangaluru, Dec 17: The Quiz association of St Aloysius College on December 15 organized ‘Al-Connaissance 2K18’, a national level Quiz competition at Eric Mathais Hall. The Quiz was conducted by quiz master Savin D’Souza secretary of the association.

The quiz was open to all the PUC and degree students of Karnataka and Kerala. From various colleges participants enrolled in large numbers. Two participants made a team. Through prelims, 6 top teams were selected for the finals.

Closing ceremony was graced by directors of admin block and Xavier block namely Dr Alwyn D’sa and Dr John D’silva. Cash prizes worth Rs 5000 were distributed among the top three teams and e-certificates for all the participants were awarded. The third place was bagged by Mithuraj and Abdul Hashim of Government First Grade College, Carstreet, Mangaluru. The second place was bagged by Sarwin and Alistain of St Aloysius PU College, Mangaluru. The first place was bagged by Shadrul and Shreyas of Lourdes Central School, Mangaluru.



Audience feedback was that the quiz was very informative. This event was successful with the help of Quiz presidents Vanaja, Neeldeep, Praveen and secretaries Kavin Fernandes, Savin D’Souza and quiz association members.
