Kundapur, Dec 17: St Antony Church, Koteshwar of Kundapur deanery, celebrated Confraternity Sunday on December 16 in preparation for the annual feast which is on December 19.

Fr Cyril Lobo of Gulbarga diocese who is presently serving at Bondel Church, presided over the Eucharist.

Eucharist was taken in procession around the city of Koteshwar seeking lords blessing to all the people of the village. Fr Cyril Lobo preached on how to make families exemplary to others. He said that all husbands should take the example of Joseph who was a just man and who tried to protect the dignity of Mary. In the same way, all wives should take the example of Mary who kept all things in her heart and pondered on them. Children, by respecting their parents, receive great blessings from the Lord and prosper in life, he said.

Fr Cyril Menezes, parish priest, thanked Fr Cyril and also the parishioners. Fr Elias, superior of Carmel Ashram, Fr Shabas and Fr Rayan were present.
