Ferrara (Italy), Dec 16 (IANS): SPAL played a goalless tie with visiting Chievo Verona in a Serie A contest held at Stadio Paolo Mazza here on Sunday.

The host side could not translate its ball possession into goals and earned its fourth draw in the season, reports Efe news.

Thus, SPAL provisionally holds the 15th spot in the standings with 16 points, while Chievo stayed in the 20th and last place with just four points.
