Udupi: Tempo hits two-wheeler at Ambalpady junction, rider injured

Udupi, Dec 16: A tempo hit a two wheeler seriously injuring the rider at Ambalpady junction here on Saturday, December 15.

Nithin Kumar, resident of Kodavoor had come to Udupi from Malpe riding his two wheeler and was returning to Malpe. He came riding from Ambalpady road and was waiting to cross NH 66 at about 12.20 pm when a tempo driven from Ambalpady to Brahmavar by its driver in excessive speed and negligence hit Nithin Kumar. Nithin Kumar was thrown to the road in the impact and sustained serious injuries to his head.

Udupi traffic police have registered a case.
