Mangaluru: Christmas cheer celebrated at Cheshire Home

Mangaluru, Dec 15: The alumni association and department of Community Health Nursing, Father Muller College of Nursing along with IV BSc (n) students organized a Christmas programme on December 14 at Cheshire Home, Kankanady.

A total of 25 inmates benefited from this programme. Wilma Aranha, president, Cheshire Home; Sr Magdaline, Superior of St Vincent Home; Prof Victoria D’Almeida, Vice Principal, Father Muller College of Nursing, executive members of alumni association, HOD and staff of department of Community Health Nursing graced the occasion.

The programme commenced with a prayer dance by IV BSc (n) students. Irene Alvares, HOD, department of Community health nursing welcomed the gathering. Christmas message was given by Sharlet D’Souza, executive member of the alumni association.



'Birth of Jesus'- tableau, performed by the students added colour to the programme. Various games were conducted for the inmates of Cheshire Home and winners were awarded prizes. Preethy Fernandes, assistant professor, Father Muller College of Nursing rendered the vote of thanks.
