Bengaluru: Alleged illegal hoisting of flexes - FIR against minister Shivakumar

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Oct 9: The police have registered first information report (FIR) against water resources minister, D K Shivakumar, on the allegation of illegally erecting flexes.

After the high court sternly told Bengaluru Bruhat Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to remove unauthorized advertisement boards and flexes which have mushroomed in the city, BBMP had begun a drive to remove them. During the operation, the officials found that an advertisement boarding existed at Pantarapalya in a land belonging to minister, D K Shivakumar. The Palike officials had served notice to the minister, asking him to remove the hoarding. But he did not do the needful.

Therefore, BBMP official, Mutturaj, complained to Byatarayanapura police station. The police have registered the FIR under Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act. A senior official later said that the hoarding was removed after the FIR was registered, and the BBP officials will be filing final report to the court in this issue.

Students use to get ranks/gold medals in studies even during our college days but no posters and flexes were put on the roadside. Now a day we see huge posters/flexes on the roadside for even winning in a school Karate competition. This is just for the commercial purpose to make money by the schools officials in getting more students with hefty fees.

This flex culture is catching up in Mangalore also. We can see lots of illegal temporary flex of student union representatives, some lungi advt, coaching institutions etc are erected all over the city. This is obstructing the view of the drivers and there might be accidents. It also makes the city look ugly. Request the concerned authorities to do the needful.

    Josey, you said it right.

FEKHU is taking credit for whose money as if it is his personal fortune which he has paid from his own pocket.

A worst P.M India ever had who is having no vision at all for the country and it's welfare other than working for his party from crony capitalists dealings and he and his party will pay for it dearly in the coming months before the 2019 general elections are held.

Stage is automatically set perfectly now for him to prove his credibility(Oil & Rupee and the U.S sanctions and also corporate skeletons tumbling out day by day which are surfaceing)for his wagging tongue which he spoke all ill about Manmohan & Congress before 2014 general elections.

Jossey you are free to go to court and ask the court to instruct to remove. Before that demand DKS to follow the court ruling.
