Mangaluru: Thokkottu residents to walk from Gujarat to Sabarimala for unity, peace

Mangaluru, Oct 9: Thokkottu residents Rajesh Shettigar, Rajesh Kothary Narala and Harish Ambikaroad began their walk from Dhooleshwara temple, Gandhinagar in Gujarat to Sabarimala in Kerala on Monday, October 8 with the intention of bringing unity and peace in society.

They received blessings from Heeraben Modi, mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi before that. They have resolved that Ayyappa Swamy may bless Narendra Modi to lead the nation towards unity and peace in the days to come.

MLA of Gandhinagar, Shambhuji presided over the programme under the aegis of Gujarat government. Gandhinagar mayor Pravin Patel handed over national flag to the three men and set the rally in motion. Their voyage will proceed via Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka and reach Kasargod. The trio will be visiting the places of worship in Kasargod, continue their walk and reach Sabarimala. The walk will take about seventy days.

Gujarat Vadodara former corporator Ashok Pawar; Nilesh, corporator of Vadodara, Manohar Shetty, entrepreneur of Vadodara; Balakrishna Shetty Kunjathur, BJP Kasargod district committee member Harishchandra Manjeshwar, Manjunath Gambhir Puttur, Mundalaguthu Radhakrishna Rai, Sudhakar Rai Kumbdaje and Vikas Shetty Bengaluru conveyed their best wishes when the rally by walk was set in motion.

    More than expression of humility before Almighty God..., in my view... the reported news is nothing but an act of invoking God for political benefit ...., In other words selling Hindu God's for political benefits....,
    This is called FEKU Hinduism...,

    In North Hondustan selling RAM lalla..., now in South Hindustan trying to Lord Ayyappa....!!!!

    nothing but DOMBARATA...., Secular thinking REAL Hindu's must be aware & beware of these kind of politics..,

    Hindustan's economy is totally destroyed.., no governance at all...!!!! just ullu banaawing..., I have no option but to enjoy one bye 2 chai + pakoda....!!!!

    Very sorry for your frustration and illness.... No medicine for this case in medicine it seems... You are a non beleiver of God/Spirit/Nature what ever is called by human beings.... why bothered about Ayyappa or Rama or Jesus or Allah... ?
