Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (ANK)

Mangaluru, Oct 8: District in charge-minister U T Khader has challenged BJP leaders to write a letter to central urban development to withdraw the construction of slaughter house. Khader’s reply came in after a controversy triggered over construction of slaughter house at Rs 15 crore.

Addressing media here on Monday, October 8, U T Khader said, “Mangaluru will have various projects under smart city project. I have put in a few suggestions. Under smart city project various development work of Mangala stadium, Wenlock hospital, Pumpwell bus stand, central market and many more will be taken up. There was demand to repair the existing slaughter house as there were no basic facilities. When BJP was in rule in the corporation, the slaughter house was auctioned and run for a year. The demands have come from them that there is lack of facilities in the slaughter house.

“Mangaluru needs to be clean and tidy. Keeping this in mind the suggestion of a slaughter house came up. Cleanliness is not only cleaning our surroundings or cleaning the road side waste but we need to keep clean the place where waste is produced. Smart city means quality of life and keeping city clean and tidy. We don’t have proper disposal facilities in slaughter houses, it is necessary to have hygienic food, so keeping this in mind the suggestion was kept during board meeting regarding the slaughter house,” said Khader.

He also said, “Board meeting was held in the presence of Mangaluru City Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and opposition leaders and they have approved this move. They have not opposed this move nor have they written to any concerned department to stop the construction of slaughter house. Why MP is silent on the same? Every issue can’t be politicized. Those who oppose the construction of slaughter house can write a letter to central and I challenge them to stop it.”

Mayor Bhaskar Moily, deputy mayor Mohammed, chief whip of MCC Shashidhar Hegde and others were present.

Great initiative and a badly needed project of clean abattoir. I can see many bhakthas advising others to o veg. Let bhakthas east veg and drink their desired holy water! Let people eat what they enjoy. Nonveg eaters too pay tax and they deserve facilities and it is the job of minister to see that all are served well!! Cult of bhakthas are culminated by brain wash for power and wealth. Wish Mangalore will have a an advanced and hygienic abattoir very soon. All the best to Khadar Bhai!!

I kindly suggest and humbly request Deputy Commissioners and district in-charge Ministers to issue cattle slaughter permit houses to each and every Taluks of the twin districts.

Presently having one cattle slaughter house in Mangalore for the whole of South Kanara District (D.K. District) due to which illegal slaughter houses have been cropped up.

When there is Akrama Sakrama for the Land, Why not implement Illegal cattle slaughter houses to be made legal/Sakrama.

    1) BELTHANGADY - NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE.
    2) SULLIA - NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE.
    3) BANTWAL - NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE.
    4) PUTTUR - NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE
    5) MOODBIDRI - NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE.
6)KADABA – NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE.

I AM NOT VERY SURE WHETHER CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE EXISTS IN UDUPI DISTRICT.
    1) KARKALA – IF NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE SHOULD BE OPENED IMMEDIATELY.
    2) KUNDAPUR - IF NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE SHOULD BE OPENED IMMEDIATELY.
    3) BYNDOOR – NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE (PROPOSED TALUK)
    4) BRAHMAVARA – NO CATTLE SLAUGHTER HOUSE (PROPOSED TALUK)

Due to one Cattle Slaughter House in Mangalore heavy to heavy burden on one and to-and-fro Cattle transportation to all those Taluks increases the prices of meat.

Presently beef price with bone is Rs.240/= and for boneless is 300/= in Mangalore costing very high and inflation rises due to very high prices of meat in the market.

I urge the state Government to increase cattle population so as to meet the demand of beef meat.

With the increase in the cattle population there will be plenty of Milk and Plenty of meat to the meat eaters. The cow theft cases will decrease/vanish in no time when there is plenty of cattle for slaughtering.

SEE THE RESULTS AFTER ISSUING PERMITS TO EACH AND EVERY TALUKS OF THE TWIN DISTRICTS, PRICES OF MEAT WILL FALL LIKE THE ECONOMY OF INDIA HAS FALLEN LIKE A PACK OF CARDS.

TO THOSE VEGETARIANS I URGE THEM DON’T BE TEMPTED TO EAT THE MEAT.

MAY GOD BLESS ALL THE HUMANITY IN THE HOLY NAME OF JESUS AMEN

It would be nice if the MLAs and MP give up non-veg food before taking about slaughter houses. Will be good for the environment as 90% of green house gases are from methane.10% of ethnic Germans are veg! If there is no non-veg food there will be no requirement of slaughter houses in the first place.

"90% of green house gases are from methane" you say.

But this methane is produced by living animals. Not by those that have been slaughtered.

If slaughtering of non-useful animals is stopped, all those animals will remain alive for many years, happily producing more methane!

Someone is concerned that the taxpaer money is going for the construction of a slaughter-house.

Generally speaking, private users of a Government-built utility (market, slaughter-house, roads, etc) would be charged some fee in some mode.

For example, when people pay a fee to get their vehicles registered, they are essentially paying for the roads, bridges, etc that the Government has provided for those vehicles.

That is the case no matter where you go.

So, the 15-crores taxpayer money will find its way back to the Government (i.e. taxpayers) by charging the slaughter-house users.

The tax-payers must be worried instead of the public money borrowed by the mega-thieves who have run away from the country - like Nirav Modi.
This money - running into tens of thousands of crores - will not get back to the taxpayers.

Nirav Modi's lawyer is FM's daughter.

Human being is the most evolved creature in God's creation. Only thing that sets us apart from animals is that we have discretionary power. We have the capacity to choose. Let's choose to move towards vegetarianism. Slaughtering animals for our happiness is just not right.

The "Smart City" concept is perhaps the best means of changing the perspective of all our Leaders in India to formulate new ideas and modern ideas in order to make India move forward with a disciplined attitude. The "Smart City" is a movement that will transform the people to think "Internationally" and come forward with new ideas that will bring change in our entire outlook in life.

It is fully appreciated that India being an overpopulated nation, the organizational skills for progress and prosperity will take longer time to implement unlike many other nations. People of India have the money and other resources to make a change, but they prefer to wait and watch while the rest of the world is moving forward with speed and efficiency. People want to freeze their money for future use, but the time is running faster than we know, while the rest of the world is moving forward with speed.

People of India are brilliant and capable. People of India are smart and educated. People of India should therefore maintain a "forward looking" attitude and build the nation with some of the finest infrastructure facilities with some of the modern ideas that are available. Let people enjoy the privileges now while the sun is shining, and let the money circulate well for the progress of the nation, which progress should filter well towards the people that deserve the best.

Vedas have said to save all quadrapeds and bipeds life . Vedas say SHANNO ASTHU DWIPADHAE SHAM CHATHUSPADHAE.If Modiji too has slipped , it is time to correct it. No more slaughter houses in the country. If BJP is not able to carry forward this agenda, it can be transferred to BD, RSS, VHP, SRS, HJS or some other Hindu Organisation which can carry forward the agenda of Bill against slaughter of any Quadraped or Biped. Trees regrow after pruning. Does any animals arms , legs grow if they are amputated? Vedas has emphasised and prescribed non violence against Bipeds and Quadrapeds. Killing humans or unborn or infants is not allowed. To save Dharma, Killing can be done but it is not the prescription. Such killings are left to Government's will. How long can you breed or save the extremists like done by previous governments? Killing of all terrorists in Mumbai attacks is allowed. All similar terror incidents in which terrorists are involved can be sent to other world directly as done by Lion Putin.

Docotr sahib, first control the population and then worry about issues faced by Indira canteen and others. India has many challenges and politics and educated people has to do their best to solve all these challenges. Currently many focused on religion and it's superior place in society than focus on basic needs of human and society. It is very sad to see if someone step up to do good there are many lines up to pull them down based on religious lines or label them many names.
